The gouging machine - American style of Reeds 'n Stuff is made for cane with a maximum diameter of 11.00 mm. It has a bed of 11.00 mm.

A quick mechanism is incorporated into the machine to allow the American style eliptic blade to not fall when it needs to be changed.
